How to get your passport with Santy

Don't have headaches to issue your passport

With the exception of Mercosur countries, where it is possible to travel carrying an RG with up to 10 years of issuance, to make any international trip you need to get your passport.

There are 5 types of passport in Brazil:


    Ordinary passport: the regular document, valid for 10 years for adults. Official or diplomatic passport: intended for people with official positions such as president, ministers and diplomats or who are on an official mission representing the country. for those who cannot wait for the regular delivery period, it lasts for up to one year.Passport for foreigners: intended for stateless persons who reside legally in Brazil.Laissez-Passer: Granted to foreigners holding a travel document not recognized by the Brazilian government or who not valid for Brazil.

For a Brazilian to obtain a passport, the requirements are:


    Have completed the electoral enlistment (voter card) in mandatory cases.Have voted, justified or paid the fine in the last election.In the case of a man, have no irregularities with mandatory military service.Have no restrictions by the Court for issuing a passport or to go abroad.

 

 

Gather documentation.

You will need the documents to answer the Federal Revenue questionnaire and also take the original documents on the day of the in-person service.


If you are over 18 years old:


    Identification document (RG; Employment Card; CNH; previous passport) CPF (if not included in the identification document) Marriage Certificate (in case of name change)

For minors:

    Birth certificate, for children under 12 years old. Passport Issue Authorization, the Federal Police website has some models. Recent 5×7 facial photograph for children under 5 years old.

Important note:


If you have already taken your passport and it is still valid, you must present it the day you go to the Federal Revenue or, in case of robbery or theft, present the Police Report.


You do not need to present your voter registration card, proof of voting or military service, as the Federal Police can check it on the day. However, you can take it to prevent any problems.
